Кекс с канела, орехи и портокал

Yesterday I made this dessert for my family. Or being honest with you I made it for myself :) I adore desserts with cinnamon and walnuts. And here it's my favorite combination.

Here is the original recipe that I used and I'll mention what I have changed...

homemade spice cake mix
    Dry Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch - I didn't use
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin spice*- I used cinnamon
  • I added ground walnuts
  • Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup whole milk - I replace it with 200 ml orange juice
  • 2 eggs, room temperature - I used 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature - I replaced with avocado oil
  1. Bake at 350 for about 18 minutes in 8-inch round pans. Increase time to about 30 minutes for 9x13 pan and keep a close eye on it.

When the dessert was completely cool I poured some melted chocolate chips, spread some ground walnuts and orange peel.
