Chocolate roulade with chocolate candies

This homemade chocolate roulade was made this morning. I baked the roulade, I made the Swiss Mocha cream, I spread some strawberry jam also on the roulade.

On the top of the roulade I spread some melted chocolate chips. Then some ground hazelnuts and some icing sugar. Now we have a winter chocolate roulade.

Then it was time to make some candies. On the back of the candies I put my winter transfer sheets to make the sweet treats more interesting.

Winter cupcakes

These muffins are banana ones with a surprise again :))) As you can see I like the surprises :)

When the banana muffins were done I made a hole in the center. Then I filled them with some delicious chocolate filling. It was a Swiss Mocha filling. On the top I spread some vanilla frosting just to look like snow. Then I used some paper decorations (the horns) that suit the paper cups.

These cupcakes are for our friends. My son is a very good friend with their son. Boys at the same age with the same game interests :)

Colorful Christmas treats

My next Christmas sweet treats - colorful Candy Melts. I use different colors just to make the treats more attractive. The taste is the same :) I used my new Christmas mold that I bought 2-3 days ago. On the back of these treats I put Christmas leaves that were on a transparent sheet.

These treats I prepared for my friends, mainly for the kids because they adore sweet and colorful treats.

Happy holidays!

Chocolate Christmas cake

This cake is very, very chocolate :) Decadent chocolate layers gently attached by Swiss mocha filling. The Christmas leaves around the cake were on a decorative transparent sheet that I covered by chocolate.

This cake I decided to keep it simple. What does it mean simple for me? No fondant :) Yes, later on, I added some fondant decorations as you can see but they are just the final touch, just to make the kids happy :)

And now some photos before I added the Christmas leaves on the top of the cake...

Christmas cupcakes with a surprise

My last homemade Christmas cupcakes. This time everything stared with the cake pops that I made some days ago. I decided to use some of them and to "hide" them into my next sweet desserts. I had planned to bake some oatmeal muffins for my kids as sweet treats at lunch time at school. Usually for my kids I prepare very simple muffins without any fancy fondant decorations. My kids even prefer them without any frosting on the top, no dried fruit inside, no any cream filling. Just chocolate chips I am allowed to use :)))

As you can notice from my photos I used only the fancy paper decorations. I made some cream that I swirled on the top the muffins. It's made out of mascarpone and vanilla frosting.
And now it's time for the surprise inside...

...it's the vanilla cake pop that I made some days ago.

Pink coconut treats

Look at what happens when you decide to make french macarons, the egg whites are whipped and at this very last moment you find that you don't have any almond flour at home...Disaster!!!!
But not complete disaster :) The first seconds I was angry with myself because before I started whipping the egg whites I hadn't checked if I have all the ingredients at home. I was 100% sure that I had almond flour at home. Unfortunately, I did a mistake. I found bags with coconut flour, chick peas flour, tapioca flour, potato flour and etc....but the almond flour bag was gone.

The stress was only for 10 seconds. Then I decided to prepare something different but with the same shape as the French macarons. I replaced the almond flour with coconut one and I continued following my recipe

I colored the coconut treats in pink and the filling in peach color. Besides the almond flour I followed strictly the recipe.

These pink treats were heavenly delicious!!! They are good with a cup of coffee or tea but even taken alone they are irresistible!

But definitely they are tasty because they were made with love!

Cake pops

And chocolate again! This post in for my next small chocolate treats - my cake pops. I didn't use the sticks  just because I didn't plan to make pops...:)

First I made two types of small balls - chocolate and vanilla. Then I covered them with melted chocolate. Actually, I used a mix that I had prepared some days ago for my truffles. That means the mix was mainly made out of melted chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and butter.

The pops covered with cocoa are the chocolate ones and these with the hearts are the vanilla pops.
I hope I gave you an interesting idea for the upcoming Christmas holidays.
