Halloween cake

Finally I found some time to show you my first for this year Halloween cake. I made it last week for a family who had just arrived to Canada.
The cake was made out of  vanilla and chocolate rolls. I stuck the three layers of them with banana cream and everything I wrapped with fluffy buttercream and purple fondant.
I hope you'll like the cake and this will give you some idea for the up coming Halloween.

Heart cake for a very close friend

This heart cake I made for a very close friend of mine - Gulfer. Today she has a special day - her birthday. She has an amazing personality and  with a hand on my heart I can say Gulfer is a true friend. I met her more that 6 years ago and although we haven't chance to meet very often we keep our friendship unreserved. She is a friend who can listen to you, who make you feel safe and can't never forget you...
For such true friend I made this cake with all my love and appreciation. It's my surprise for Gulfer. Happy birthday, dear friend! I wish you all the best!

Heart cake for my loved Sophia

And now it's time to show you the cake that I made for my Sophia. "Heart cake" was her decision. I was surprised when I heard that. I expected that she would like something with animals or with some movie character....but from the beginning she insisted on "heart cake". On the top she asked me to add....you can't believe it but it's true...some snails :))) Of course, I can't say "No" to my precious Sophia. If this is her desire I can't do anything besides making the snails....
Be happy and healthy child, my dear Sophia! We love you very much!!!!

...and now with the snails...

Gluten free cake

My new cake isn't only gluten-free . No vegetable oil, no milk, no eggs....The cake is made with rice flour, cocoanut oil, water...Here I'll share with you the recipe of this plum cake:

Recipe for 6'' cake

1 1/2 cup rice flour
3 tbsp. cocoa (unsweetened)
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
5 tbsp. cocoanut oil
1 cup water

Preheat the oven to 350 F and bake the mixture for 35 min. The original recipe was with chocolate frosting but I replaced it with my home-made cream of dried plums (previously soaked), mascarpone cream, sour cream and agave syrup. I sprinkled some ground walnuts on the top.

Tennis racket cake

This tennis racket is a raw cake made with abundance of ground almonds and dates. Dates give a lovely natural sweetness and are high in the minerals, potassium, chromium, magnesium and iron. Of course, there are other healthy ingredients in the cake but I'll keep them in secret :) The whole cake is covered and decorated with fondant.
The cake was ordered by the incredible ballet talent Jenie Gospodinova. I am sure that most of you know about her dance achievements but for those of you who has never been touched by her creative work, here you can visit Jenie's blog.

My little pony cake

My little pony...but where are the ponies?!?! I'm sure that most of you noticed that the cute ponies are missing...O'K, it's time to reveal the magic :)
Last week I received an e-mail from a friend of mine asking me to make a cake for her youngest daughter's birthday. Little Stephanie likes very much the movie " My little pony" and she would be happy to have a cake with the characters. Her mother decided to surprise her buying  the little ponies. I had to prepare the cake and to decorate it and then the ponies will arrive on the top of it and will bring more smiles on Stephanie's face.
That's the main reason why the cake is without the ponies...but there are plenty of flowers, gifts, a river with river stones and a magic rainbow!

I would like to thank my friend sending me more photos with the ponies from the birthday. And here is the final look:

Happy birthday, Stephanie! I wish you all the best!
