Homemade truffles

Besides all the desserts and cakes last days I found some time to make for my family some candies...But what a candy! Chocolate truffle!
I found last week a recipe in a magazine and immediately I decided to make my experiment.

I'll share with you the recipe:
1 tin sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup butter at room temperature
1 cup melted chocolate chips
a pinch of salt
2 tbsp/ balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup frozen raspberries (thawed)
1/2 cup Dutch cocoa

When you make the mixture, spread it in a baking cookie sheet and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Then with a spoon grab into the mixture and by your hands make small balls. Then roll the balls into the Dutch cocoa and the truffles are ready :)

I rolled some of the truffles into ground hazelnuts, some into cocoa powder, some into finely ground cookies.

Blue heart cake

Happy birthday, dear Krisi! Be always as charming as you are! Have a great birthday party!

This blue heart cake is for Kristina's 11th birthday. That was the young lady's cake wish for this year.

The cake is a mix of decadent chocolate layers and vanilla ones. The filling is made out of mascarpone, sour cream and strawberries. Yummy-yummy...:)

At the very beginning I was thinking to make a lot of different kinds of flowers. But finally I chose a bouquet of roses. I hope I won't disappoint Krisi with my choice.

Next photos I took at night and that's why they are not so good and there are some shades that I can't get rid of them. Here is the moment to thank my friend Maria who helps me a lot with my photos. Here you can see her masterpieces. Thanks, Maria!!!!

Enjoy the party, Krisi!

Yogurt dessert with raspberries

This dessert is definitely for the summer but instead of baking pumpkin or carrot layers last days I made this fresh cake. No doubt, it's incredibly delicious!

This cake is made out of yogurt. This time I used vanilla yogurt, some sour cream, some fresh wild berries and gelatin. If you want to replace the gelatin, I recommend you replacing it with agar-agar. It's very simple recipe. You just mix all the ingredients and the dessert is done! But before you start trying it you have to leave it in the fridge at least 2 hours.

At the end I decorated with fresh raspberries and some mint leaves.

Bon appetit!

Banana muffins

This morning muffins for my kids. These are banana muffins with chocolate chips (my kids request).

On the top of the muffins I spread some marshmallows (the brown spots on the desserts). When the muffins were baked I spread some colorful tiny robots. I used them just to make the muffins more attractive for my kids. They don't have any other purpose.

If you use too many banana pieces in the mixture you have to bake them a little bit longer. You can add some ground nuts like walnuts. I didn't use them because my kids are very "sensitive" what is inside :)
Bon appetite!

Naked cake

Abundance of fruit...sweet and delicious cherries, fresh blueberries and juicy grapes. And all this natural richness goes hand by hand with the ravishing mascarpone filling. I adore mascarpone as a cake filling. It makes each cake memorable! Now enjoy the pictures :)

Oatmeal muffins with dried pears and fresh raspberries

If you have read the title of my post, you'll know everything about these sweet desserts. They aren't anything special. They are an afternoon treat at the end of the working day. I adore all kinds of muffins that include any fruit inside. I baked very often muffins with cranberries but this time I decided to make a radical change - dried pears. I soaked them couple of hours. Then I poured them into the batter and I added some fresh raspberries....

When I tired them I fell into love with them. My new discovery! These are my first muffins with dried pears....Irresistibly delicious!

Ferrero Rocher cake

This very chocolate cake I made for a lady that I hadn't chance to meet. We just spoke on the phone but that was enough to accept her as a friend. The lady has an amazing voice, very friendly and tranquil.

Now some words concerning the cake. Anyway, this blog is dedicated to my cake decorating love.
The cake is made out of strawberry layers and the filling includes Nutella, melted chocolate chips and butter. This is Ferrero Rocher filling recipe. Instead of the ground hazelnut wafers I ground real Ferrero Rocher candies. The cake is covered with abundance of chocolate ganache...The simple decoration is the golden sugar.
