Minnie Mouse cake

This purple cake is for Madlen's first birthday party. Happy birthday,Madlen!!!! Be very happy child!

The cake is a copy of one of my Minnie Mouse cakes. Madlen's parents had found me in facebook and had noticed my Minnie Mouse cake that I made last year for another cute girl.

The cake is made out of white layers (only egg whites) gently attached by homemade chocolate cream.

Shopkins cake

Happy birthday, dear Sophia!!!!! We love you! You are our precious big girl! We wish you all the best!

As you can see this year Sophia's cake wish is Shopkins. This is the new girls' attraction for the last year. I can't believe how strong our girls can be addicted to these tiny faces...

Anyway, my task was to make a cake that my Sophia has desired. The first tier is red velvet with chocolate cheese cream. I used pink buttercream around the cake instead of the traditional fondant. The second tier is chocolate layer filled with fluffy vanilla cream. The face of this Shopkins is covered by fondant and the top - by blue buttercream.

I used also pink and purple spray, pink pearls, pink crystals and a lot of love!!!!

This image I copied on a non-stick baking paper from a book and then I transferred on a fondant white sheet. Then I colored it by colored pens and dyes.

Now let see the small Shopkins that I made out of fondant for a cake decoration.

And some photos around the cake...

Beside the cake I made some cherry muffins with a red velvet small ball inside - a small surprise. Then I used some purple and pink butter cream for the top and these cute fans that I found in a store near us.

My little pony cake

Happy birthday, dear child! I wish a memorable birthday party full of beautiful surprises and wonderful gifts!

This year Kristin's cake wish is My Little Pony. Her mom sent me a photo of a cake that they liked and I made almost the same :). I always changed a little bit of the cakes that the people send me. I hope I made the new better versions :))))

The pink crystals around the name sign I put some minutes before the dad came to pick up the cake. Spontaneously this idea came into my mind. Kristin's mom asked me for a bright, shiny cake. That's why I spread quickly some pink sugars here and there :)

Look at the cake before that....

Oh,yes, here are the cookies...:) I decided to make some cookies for Kristin and to surprise her. I had these little ponies picture on a rice paper and I decided to bring another smile on her face...

And now let's return to the cake. The layers are combination of chocolate and vanilla. The vanilla layers are with colorful sprinkles into them.
The filling is light homemade vanilla cream.

The two little ponies are plastic cake decorations. I hope I picked up the two that Kristin likes. All other decorations are made out of fondant, gum paste, colored buttercream and candies (the river stones). I used pearl dust for most of the flowers and the butterflies.

I hope Kristin will like her cake...Here you can see what was her cake wish last year.

Cakes for my husband

Yesterday was my husband's birthday....As you can see from the small sign on the top of the cake (for the people who don't understand Bulgarian, it's written "We love you" )we wanted to express sweet and shortly our deep love towards him. He is an amazing father and loving husband.

I decided to surprise my husband with candy box cake in the shape of a heart. The cake is raw. It's made out of finely ground dried fruit (apricots, plums and raisins) and nuts (pecans and hazelnuts). I added coconut flakes, coconut oil and that's it. The mix I put in a heart pan and I left in for a night in the freezer. On the next day I made the decorations of the candy box out of fondant and on the top I spread real chocolate candies that I bought from the store.

You know me - I am taking too many pictures :)

This year I made second cake for y husband too. I wasn't sure that most of our guests will like the specific taste of this cake and I decided to make another one - more traditional - a rustic cake.

Mix of chocolate and red velvet layers. Cream of cream cheese and chocolate frosting, Swiss Mocha light cream and abundance of fruit. This time I used grapes, peaches and blueberries. The decoration is chocolate ganache, finely ground almonds and fresh fruits.

Happy birthday, my love!!!!! We wish you all the best! We love you!
