Orange cake

That's my orange cake for my family. Yesterday I decided to surprise them with something different. I like very light and fluffy creams without butter. That's why I made a lemon filling. My kids adore jello and that's why I made an orange jello with some tangerine pieces inside. I baked a red velvet layer to reach nice contrast and to make something with my favorite colors - yellow, orange and red.

Valerie's cake

Happy birthday, dear Valerie! I wish you an amazing birthday party full of friends, a lot of gifts and beautiful surprises!

This cake is for Valerie's 3 birthday party. Now the young girl likes very much Masha and the bear. That's why we have this theme cake :)

The little girl on the cake is Valerie who reads the book "Masha and the bear" to the bear. Masha will "come" later on the cake. The character is a plastic decoration that will be put on the cake by Valerie's mom before the birthday party. 

The cake is made out of combination of vanilla and chocolate layers and very light and fluffy vanilla cream. All the decorations are out of fondant.

Here I would like to thank Valerie's mom who sent me some cake photos taken at the birthday party with the final detail on the cake - Masha.

As I told you Masha is a plastic toy which will be added to the cake at the birthday party. Here we go...
