Happy New Year!

Happy New 2015!!! My dear virtual friends, I wish you healthy year, an year full of nice surprises and memorable moments!

This cake is for friends of mine. The requirement was for a very light cake, no fondant, no fancy decorations, less calories :)

That's why I made a cake with very fluffy pink layers with light cream of raspberries and sour cream. Around each cake layer I arranged strawberries halves and everything I wrapped only with whipping cream. On the top and then around the cake I spread coconut flakes. Even I didn't use any butter cream. What do you think are there less calories? :)

On the top I put some icing decorations, ready-made. They are just for the kids. They always look for something colorful and sweet :) And my cake experience shows that these decorations disappeared immediately, even before you start cutting the pieces.

Happy New Year, my dear friends!!!

Navamar cake

This cake is for the New Year's party of the company Navamar. For the people who follow my posts probably the name Navamar sounds familiar. And that's true. Last year exactly at this time of the year I made another cake for the company's party. The same person ordered this year the cake. He sent me some pictures to show me what he and his colleagues have created in 2014. The construction on the boat is the new invent... I know that this is something really important and that's why I took many pictures from different angles :)

Happy New Year, Navamar!

Christmas time...

It's Christmas time...the air is full of love, smiles, happy mood and relaxation.  It's time to visit our relatives and friends, to share funny stories and moments, to give presents and to make our loved ones happy. It's a beautiful time of the year. Everybody tries to be better than yesterday, tries to make friends and not only friends happier...

I made for my friends this raw cake - the Snowman. It's an abundance of ground hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts, a great variety of dried fruit, some coconut oil and fresh lemon juice....I didn't cover the snowman with  fondant because my friends that spent the night with us don't eat it. That's why I used some white cream.

I made some Christmas cookies too. Simple but delicious :)

What a sweet way to say how much you love your friends :)

Enjoy the Christmas holidays!

Winter cake

This cake for our very close friends. It's vanilla with very light raspberry cream. The idea came with the ceramic decorations that I found some days ago. I find them very attractive and immediately I decided to put them on a cake when the time would come. I used also some plastic deer and some icing Christmas trees decorations. The cake is wrapped only with cream, no fondant except the snowman and the stars. This is my first cake that I painted directly on the cream.

I hope you will like it and it will bright smiles on your face :)

Happy holidays, my virtual friends!

Merry Christmas (Весела Коледа)

Merry Christmas, my dear friends! I wish you very merry holidays, plenty of memorable moments, good health and true love!!!!

This cake is for friends with whom we will celebrate tonight. The cake is vanilla with very light chocolate cream. The cake is really very simple without any fancy decorations. As you notice I didn't use any fondant this time. Only the letters are made out of fondant...I bought this plastic decoration with Santa. It's very helpful at this time of the year when the time is really very, very precious :)

I put some icing decorations around the cake with snowmen, penguins and deer. The kids found them very cute :)

Happy holidays!

Train cake

This cake is for Alexandre's 3rd birthday. Happy birthday,Alex! Have a great party!

Some days ago Alexandre's mother called me and asked me for a cake for her boy. The only requirement was to make a cake with a train....but not Thomas. I was more than happy again. As I mentioned in one of my last post I am tired of Christmas cakes. The idea of a cute train was like a bless to me. And the colors too! I adore the warm colors! When I was a little girl my favorite color was the yellow one. I always connect  it with the sun. And the Sun for me is Life!

The train was made out of rice crispy covered with fondant. And now more photos taken from different angles...

I'm so sorry for showing you so many photos but I think I am addicted to this cake :)
By the way, the cake is vanilla with colorful sprinkles inside. The cream is my favorite - mascarpone with wild berries. Yummy-yummy!

Enjoy the party,my little friend! All the best to you !
