This is my Christmas candle cake. This year I decided to make a small surprise to everyone who ordered a cake for the upcoming holidays. On this photo you can see the cute penguin who is the gift to the people ordered the cake. The penguin is a Christmas decoration for the Christmas tree.
The cake is with vanilla layers and very delicious filling of mascarpone, chocolate frosting and whipping cream. It's covered by fondant and the melted candle is made out of royal icing. I used real candle that I put inside the cake, in the center.
The other idea how to make the cake is to make a roulade and then you can frosted and decorate as you want.
And now let's turn on the light...
