This cake is a special birthday gift-surprise made from a wife to her loving husband. The lady that ordered the cake wanted to surprise her husband with an interesting and unique cake. She suggested me to make a cake related to his business. The man works in a very big company-leader in innovative packing solutions, a distributor of tapes, plastic films, equipment, cushioning materials and boxes. As you see it wasn't an easy task what kind of cake design to think out. I came with the idea to make different sizes and different colors of large rolls of papers.
To be more interesting I decided to "wrap" the cake with an old-time, ancient paper :) But the most important in this cake was the wife's message.
It's so touching!!!! A short message but expressing all the emotions and the deep feelings between these two people. True, dedicated, supporting love! Love that everyone of us is looking for through our lives!
That's why we (me and the lady) decided to add some colorful hearts around the cake - colorful as our life, expressing the true love that the lady has towards his loving husband.
But let stop with the lyrical thoughts. Let's leave them to this beautiful couple.
I'll share with you what the cake includes - vanilla and chocolate layers and fluffy vanilla cream.
I wish this charming family to be always next to each other, to keep always this beautiful and true love between them and to support each other in all moments in their life.
