Christmas roulade

My Christmas roulade some days before Christmas :) I made it yesterday for my family.

It's made out of vanilla layer gently wrapped with mascarpone cream. I added some wild berries into the cream and some sour cream. I wanted to prepare delicious but very light dessert.

That's why on the top of the roulade I spread a little bit of chocolate frosting.

I don't want to sound very selfish but the dessert was so good, so irresistibly delicious that I ate two pieces for less than two minutes.

Masha and the bear cake

Happy birthday, Zara! Be very healthy and happy girl! Have a great birthday party!

The cake was ordered by Zara's mom. The lady mentioned that right now Zara's favorite movie character is Masha. At the very beginning we planned to place plastic toys on the top of the cake and they would be as a present at the end of the party. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any toy on the market. That's why I started making Masha and the bear out of fondant. And that is the result...

The cake was made out of white layers with tiny colorful bits. The cream was made out of goat yogurt and wild berries. All decorations were made out of fondant.

Happy birthday!

More Winter cupcakes

It's time for more winter cupcakes. They were ordered by a charming lady as a surprise for young kids at a day care.

I baked 10 chocolate and 10 vanilla muffins decorated with vanilla frosting. I spread some snowflakes on the top and then I added the stick with the paper decoration. And it's done!

Let's arrange  the cupcakes in the box and they are ready to be brought to the daycare! Merry Christmas!

Turtle Ninja cake and cookies

This cake is for a boy's 4th birthday. I won't mention any names because I didn't ask the parents for any permission....
But let's pay attention to the cake :) Anyway, it's a cake blog :)

The mom asked me for the cake. She mentioned that her boy right now is interested very much in the turtles. At the very beginning I didn't plan to make all of them but when the lady shared with me how much her son loves the turtles, the weapons and the Master I changed my mind and decided to make the boy happy. That's the most important to me- to make my young fellows happy!

And here we go...the four turtles and the Master...

Now some words about the cake. The layers are white (only egg whites) and the cream is made out of mascarpone and wild berries. All decorations are made out of fondant.

And now it's time for the cookies...more turtles :)

And now in the box ready to surprise the boy and his friends!

Happy birthday! I wish you all the best!
