This cake is for chocolate lovers, for people who adore pure decadent chocolate with delicious nuts. This cake I made with raw almonds but if you prefer hazelnuts they are a good option too.
Now it's time for the recipe:
Layers:
5 eggs
7 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tbsp flour
2 tsp baking powder
200 gr. ground almonds
Cream filling:
180 gr butter (room temperature)
200 gr. melted chocolate
finely ground honey crackers or waffles (unfortunately, I didn't measure them)
The mix for the layers I baked at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 min or until it is done (you can check with a toothpick). The diameter is 20 cm and I divided the mix into three equal parts.
For the cream filling you need butter at room temperature. Beat it with the mixture until it's fluffy. Then gradually add the melted chocolate and continue mixing. At the end you add the finely ground cookies (honey crackers or waffles).
