Cinderella cake

Yesterday was Kristine's birthday party. And this was her birthday cake - Cinderella.

The original idea for the cake wasn't mine. Kristine's mom has chosen a cake from the net and she asked me to make a similar one . I kept the main idea but of course some details are changed.

This is the back of the cake - the picture is different and of course, you can see the back of the plastic toy on the top of the cake.

The cake is a sweet mix of vanilla and chocolate layers gently attached by fluffy homemade vanilla cream. All decorations except Cinderella on the top are made out of fondant.

A cake full of romance, love, roses, sparkling sugar and pearl dust....

Happy birthday, dear Kristine! Be very happy and healthy child! Be always a princess!

Frozen cake

I always keep my promises. As I told you in my last post, I'll share with you Alex's other favorite character. By the way for the people who are not following all my posts, Alex is a very cute girl, a daughter of a friend, who celebrated her 4th birthday last month.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any free time to post the cakes earlier. The first one was for the party at the daycare - Hello Kitty and now it's the cake for the other party :)

As you noticed the other favorite character is Elsa from the most popular among the girls movie "Frozen".

The idea for the cake isn't mine. Alex mom have found somewhere in the net a photo of a similar cake and Alex immediately fell in love with it. They asked me to make the same cake. Alex picked up Elsa's picture and I printed it on an edible paper :)

The cake is decadent chocolate one with chocolate filling. It's an addiction for the chocolate lovers :)

Happy birthday, dear Alex! Enjoy your birthday party, surrounded by a lot of true friends!

Hello Kitty cake

 Happy birthday, dear Alex!
This cake is for Alex's 4th birthday. Alex is a very charming girl who celebrated her birthday last month at her daycare with this cake. Hello Kitty is one of her favorite characters.

As I said Hello Kitty is one of Alex favorite characters because in my next post you will see the next favorite one :) But for now I'll keep it in secret :)

This cake is chocolate with homemade chocolate filling.

It's too white with my white background but I hope you have an idea of this cute kitty cake:)

Bird cage cake :)

That cake was for my husband birthday. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any time to post it. Being honest with you I hadn't had any time even to make it but how can you celebrate without a birthday cake especially when it was my husband's birthday....

The idea for this cake came spontaneously. While I was wondering what to put on the cake-a car, a sign, a tire or something else related to my husband's favorite topic, the cars, I decided completely to change the theme. And why not :)
I wanted to make something bright, full of light, love and passion. And the birds came to my mind:)

The most difficult part this time was the air humidity. It was extremely difficult to cover the cake with fondant, to make and put the decorations. Everything was melting extremely quickly. I was desperate. I wanted to cry but this won't help me at all. The cake is shining because of this humidity that have just killed my enthusiasm and cake passion. Anyway, I tried to take pictures as quickly as it's possible....before the cake collapse. Hopefully, the cake didn't collapse. Only me :) I was so stressed and nervous.

But the most important my husband liked the cake. It was really a nice and sweet surprise.

The cake was chocolate with Swiss Mocha filling and mini eclairs inside.

I didn't want to "disappoint completely" my husband and I prepared some muffins for him and his colleagues with edible photos of his favorite car - Volkswagen :) In that way I still followed the tradition to make something sweet based on my husband's favorite car :)

I love you, darling! Be very healthy and happy!

Mickey Mouse cake & muffins

This party cake is for Dani's 3rd birthday. Happy birthday, dear child! Be very happy and healthy!

A very close friend to Dani's mom called me for the cake. The lady had already checked my cakes and she liked very much one based on Mickey Mouse theme. She asked me to look for some toys to spread around the cake and to make a nice surprise for Dani. After I checked all shops around me I found only these that you can see on the top. Although some characters were missing I found them very cute and they definitely brought the party mood.
And as I understood later Dani was very happy with this sweet surprise.

All other decorations are made out of fondant...
And now some more sweet treats for the birthday party but this time at the daycare where Dani celebrated with his friends.
The muffins are vanilla ones without any fondant or icing decorations. I have just used colorful paper cups and sticks based again on Mickey Mouse theme.
