Halloween cake 2017

Happy Halloween everyone!

This cake I made for my kids and their friends. My daughter has a friend at home, my son invited his 2 best friends for a sleep over and I decided to make a surprise for the kids.

The cake is very light. I didn't use any fondant or any butter cream neither any frosting. The cake is covered by colored in orange whipping cream. The decorations are edible candies and chewing gums. I used some sprinkles too. The layers are chocolate (my kids favorite) and the filling is Oreo cream.

Carrie's birthday cake

Today is Carrie's birthday party. Congratulations and happy birthday, dear Carrie! We wish you all the best!

Carrie is my daughter's best friend. The two girls knew each other from last year when they met in their new school and they are in one and the same class.

This is a 6" round cake made out of vanilla layers and the filling is also light vanilla cream with fresh grapes and strawberries. The decorations are made out of fondant. The cake is covered by pink frosting.

Fruit cake

Happy birthday, Stephan! Be happy and be always in good health! All the best!

This birthday cake is made out of vanilla layers. The filling is very light and fluffy vanilla cream full of fresh raspberries and blackberries. The cake is covered by a very thin coat of whipping cream and on the top I spread some chocolate ganache. The decorations are fresh fruit. Only the sign is made out of fondant.

Happy birthday, dear Yana! Be very happy and healthy, be always surrounded by your loved ones!

This cake is for Yana's birthday. It was ordered by her loved one who wanted to surprise her with something sweet.

The cake is raw and it's made out of raw finely ground almonds and dried fruit like dates, raisins and cranberries. I used also coconut oil, lemon zest and lemon juice and chia seeds. The cake is decorated my chocolate ganache and fresh fruit.

I added also two orange heart candies made out of Candy Melts by Wilton.

Power Puff girls cake

This cake is for Alex 5th birthday. Happy birthday, Alex! I wish you an amazing birthday party, a lot of friends and beautiful presents! Enjoy it!

My previous post was dedicated to Alex again. I shared with you her birthday cake for the daycare - the cute trolls.

Today I'll share with you the second cake - for the birthday party with her other friends.

Alex cake wish are Power Puff Girls. Being honest with you, I have never heard of these girls...This is a sign that my kids are getting older and I am not aware of the new characters.

The cake is made out of rainbow layers with mascarpone filling and fresh and delicious raspberries. The cake is covered by white chocolate ganache colored in orange. The decorations are fondant and the 3 girls with their friends are plastic decorations.

Troll cake

Happy birthday, Alex! Enjoy your birthday party at the daycare! I wish you millions of smiles and nice presents! :)

Probably, right now you are asking where are the cute trolls...Be patient, here are they :)

Special thanks to Alex's mom who sent me a photo with the trolls toys on the top of the cake which give you the final touch.

Pavlova cake

I was planning a long time ago to make this cake...But being honest with you I really had fear....I thought it's very complicated, there are some specific details....egg whites, special baking...Every time I found thousand of reasons not to try...until last week!

And here we go...instead of one I made two Pavlova cakes!!! And do you know? It's so delicious....incredibly delicious! I fell in love with this cake! I hope you like it too.

A chocolate cake with fluffy whipping cream and fresh strawberries, finely ground cookies and more fruit on the top. This is Didi's cake wish!

Julian's Minion cake

Happy birthday, Julian! Be happy and smiley child!

This is Julian's cake wish - Minion cake :) The other thing that Julian adores right now are the school buses. That's why a cute school bus is next to our Minion. It's a metal decoration. Everything else is edible and made out of fondant.

The cake is a combination of chocolate and vanilla layers. The filling is vanilla cream, two different recipes. The one is light and fluffy, without any butter and the other is more thick and dense.
